社区·博物馆——从英国经验谈起

Community and Museum: From the UK Experience

摘要在世界范围内,美国与法国的社区博物馆理念与实践得到广泛认同与传播,相比之下,英国的社区博物馆的经验却较少被提及。实际上,自20世纪末英国新工党的"社会包容"政策施行以来,"社区"得到前所未有的重视,而博物馆成为践行"社会包容"政策、联络社区的重要阵地。与美、法社区博物馆模式相比,英国博物馆因举国政策的嵌入而使得其社区实践具有无所比拟的影响力与冲击力。本文通过追溯英国新工党执政期间的社会包容和社区政策,了解英国社区博物馆经验及意义,并以国家摄影、电影和电视博物馆与泰特现代美术馆为例进一步论证,为我国相关博物馆建设提供些许借鉴。 The concept and practice of community museums in the United States and France are widely recognized and spread in the world, while the experience of the United Kingdom is seldom mentioned. In fact, since the implementation of New Labour’s social inclusion policy at the end of the 20 th century, community has received unprecedented attention, and museums have become an important position to connect communities and implement the social inclusion policy. Compared with other models of community museums, the UK one has incomparable influence and impact because of the embedding of national policies. This article traces back the social inclusion policy and community strategy under New Labour, studies the experience and significance of the UK community museums, and further takes the National Museum of Photography, Film and Television and Tate Modern as examples, so as to provide some reference for the construction of relevant museums in China.
